A quick and easy dessert dip that captures the nostalgic campfire flavor of s’mores with melted chocolate, toasted marshmallows, and graham crackers, perfect for parties and cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups (270 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (150 g) mini marshmallows
  • About 10 sheets graham crackers, broken into chunks or strips
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven’s broiler to high and position the rack about 6 inches (15 cm) from the heat source.
  2. In an oven-safe skillet, combine the chocolate chips and softened butter. Melt over low heat on stovetop or in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt until glossy and fully melted.
  4. Spread the melted chocolate and butter mixture evenly across the bottom of the skillet.
  5. Generously cover the chocolate base with mini marshmallows, packing them close together.
  6. Place the skillet under the broiler and toast the marshmallows for 2-4 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for a minute or two. Serve warm with graham cracker chunks or strips for dipping.

Notes

Use quality chocolate chips like Ghirardelli for a silky melt. Softened butter helps create a smooth base. Watch the marshmallows closely under the broiler to prevent burning. For gluten-free, substitute graham crackers with gluten-free cookies or apple slices. Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated in the oven to restore gooeyness.
