Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups milk, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and no lumps remain.
  2. Divide the chocolate base evenly into three separate bowls. Add gel food coloring to each: one blue, one purple, and one pink. Stir until colors are vibrant and fully mixed.
  3. In a blender, add 2/3 of the ice cubes (about 200 g) along with one colored chocolate batch. Blend on high until thick and slushy but not watery. Repeat for each color separately.
  4. Layer the colored frozen chocolate in a clear glass by spooning small amounts of each color in a swirling pattern. Tilt the glass slightly and add colors in different spots to mimic a galaxy. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and sprinkle a pinch of edible glitter.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon. Best enjoyed within 10 minutes for peak texture.
