A quick, no-bake Halloween dessert featuring layers of Oreo cookie ‘dirt’, fresh whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and gummy worms. Perfect for parties and kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2024 regular Oreo cookies
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 pack gummy worms (soft, chewy)
  • Mini plastic pumpkins (optional, for decoration)
  • Clear plastic cups or mason jars

Instructions

  1. Place Oreos in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form, or crush in a bag with a rolling pin.
  2. Transfer crumbs to a bowl and mix with melted butter until evenly moistened and clumping slightly.
  3. In a chilled bowl, beat heavy cream, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
  4. Spoon a layer of cookie ‘dirt’ (1-2 tablespoons) into the bottom of each clear cup and press down lightly.
  5. Add a generous layer of whipped cream (2-3 tablespoons) on top of the dirt.
  6. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the cream in a zigzag pattern.
  7. Sprinkle another layer of cookie crumbs over the chocolate syrup.
  8. Gently push gummy worms into the top dirt layer so they stick out at different angles.
  9. Decorate with mini plastic pumpkins if desired and serve chilled.

Notes

Chill bowls and beaters before whipping cream for best results. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours; add worms just before serving. For gluten-free, use GF chocolate cookies. For dairy-free, use plant-based cream and syrup.
