A quick and kid-friendly lunch recipe featuring peanut butter and honey rolled in soft tortillas, sliced into pinwheels, served with cheese cubes and fresh grapes. Perfect for busy parents needing a no-fuss, nutritious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 soft flour tortilla (8-inch size)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or natural)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 ounce cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
  • A handful of seedless grapes, washed and halved if large
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon mixed into peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Place one soft flour tortilla on a clean cutting board. Warm briefly in the microwave for about 10 seconds if stiff.
  2. Spread about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla.
  3. Drizzle roughly 1 tablespoon of honey over the peanut butter layer, swirling lightly to blend but keeping distinct pockets.
  4. Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape, tucking in edges if needed.
  5. Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels, yielding about 6 to 8 pieces.
  6. Cut about 1 ounce of cheddar cheese into small cubes.
  7. Wash and halve a handful of seedless grapes.
  8. Pack the pinwheels, cheese cubes, and grapes neatly into an airtight lunchbox or container.

Notes

Warm tortillas slightly if stiff to prevent cracking. Roll tightly and slice with a sharp, non-serrated knife to keep pinwheels intact. Pack grapes and cheese separately to maintain freshness. Optional cinnamon adds a warm flavor twist. Substitute sunflower seed butter for peanut allergies and use gluten-free tortillas if needed.
