These Easy Creamy Turkey and Cheese Pinwheel Wraps are quick, simple, and perfect for party snacks or casual gatherings. They feature soft tortillas rolled with a creamy spread, turkey slices, and shredded cheese for a savory, satisfying bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Large flour tortillas, about 10 inches in diameter
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 6 ounces cooked turkey slices, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, a pinch or two
  • 12 tablespoons finely chopped green onions (optional)
  • A handful of fresh spinach leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for 20-30 minutes until spreadable.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise (if using), Dijon mustard, and freshly ground black pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. If using spinach or green onions, scatter them evenly across the tortilla, leaving about half an inch at the edges free.
  4. Spread a generous, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the tortilla, about 1/4 inch thick, being careful not to tear the tortilla.
  5. Layer the sliced turkey evenly over the cream cheese spread, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape, pressing lightly to keep it even and tight.
  7. Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  8. Remove the wrap and place the roll on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into 1-inch thick rounds, wiping the knife clean between cuts if needed.
  9. Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Soften cream cheese well to avoid tearing tortillas. Chill wrapped rolls for at least 30 minutes before slicing for clean pinwheels. Use a very sharp knife and wipe between cuts. Avoid overstuffing to prevent tearing. Can prepare rolls up to 24 hours ahead and slice before serving. Not recommended to freeze.
