A quick and easy snack or side dish featuring fresh corn on the cob air fried to crispy perfection and coated with a savory garlic parmesan butter.

  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced or pressed
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of smoked paprika or chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Husk and clean 4 ears of fresh corn. Trim the ends slightly if needed to fit your air fryer basket.
  2. In a small bowl, mix 4 tablespoons softened unsalted butter with 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper until combined and smooth.
  3. Using a brush or spoon, generously spread the garlic parmesan butter all over each ear of corn, covering every kernel.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  5. Place the buttered corn in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through with tongs, until golden brown spots and slight char appear.
  6. Brush the corn with any leftover garlic parmesan butter for an extra punch. Optionally, sprinkle more parmesan or smoked paprika for color and flavor.
  7. Serve immediately while warm, buttery, and crispy.

Notes

Use softened butter for easy spreading. Preheat the air fryer to ensure crispy kernels. Flip corn halfway through cooking for even browning. Watch closely near the end to prevent butter from burning. Fresh garlic is preferred for best flavor, but garlic powder can be used in a pinch. For dairy-free, substitute vegan butter and nutritional yeast for parmesan.
