No-cook, creamy overnight oats with rich peanut butter flavor, perfect for busy mornings. Just mix, refrigerate, and enjoy a grab-and-go breakfast that tastes like dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds
  • Pinch of salt (about 1/8 teaspoon)
  • Optional toppings: sliced banana, dark chocolate chips, extra peanut butter, chopped nuts, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter and 1/2 cup milk until smooth.
  2. Stir in 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey and 1 tablespoon chia seeds. Mix well.
  3. Add 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats and a pinch of salt. Stir until oats are fully coated.
  4. Pour mixture into a mason jar or container with a lid. Seal tightly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight (8 hours is ideal).
  6. In the morning, stir well. If too thick, add a splash of milk to loosen.
  7. Add desired toppings and enjoy cold, or microwave for 45-60 seconds for warm oats.

Notes

For best texture, use old-fashioned rolled oats, not quick or steel-cut. Mixing peanut butter with milk first prevents clumps. Chia seeds are key for creaminess. Oats keep in fridge for up to 4 days; add toppings fresh. To warm, microwave jar (lid off) for 45-60 seconds.
