A quick, no-bake 3-ingredient snack featuring a thick, creamy cinnamon-spiced cream cheese mixture studded with crunchy toffee bits, served with fresh apple slices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (confectioners’ sugar)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 23 crisp apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), sliced into wedges or sticks

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes or microwaving on low power for 15-20 seconds until soft but not melted.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, use an electric mixer on medium-high speed to beat the softened cream cheese and butter together for 2-3 minutes until pale, fluffy, and smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula halfway through.
  3. Add the powdered sugar and cinnamon to the bowl. Mix on low speed to incorporate, then increase to medium-high for another minute. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice if desired.
  4. Pour in the toffee bits and gently fold them into the mixture using a spatula, being careful not to overmix so the toffee remains in distinct chunks.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dip to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and texture to firm up.
  6. While the dip chills, wash and slice the apples into uniform wedges or sticks. Toss with a little lemon juice if serving later to prevent browning.
  7. Remove the dip from the fridge, garnish with extra cinnamon or toffee bits if desired, and serve immediately with the apple slices.

Notes

Ensure all dairy ingredients are at room temperature to avoid lumps. Do not use light cream cheese or tub spreads as they contain more water and air, which can make the dip runny. The dip does not freeze well as the cream cheese may separate and become grainy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
