A bright and bubbly summer cocktail combining limoncello, Prosecco, soda water, and fresh lemon juice for a refreshing and easy-to-make drink perfect for outdoor gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ounces (90 ml) limoncello
  • 3 ounces (90 ml) Prosecco or sparkling wine
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) soda water or sparkling mineral water
  • ½ ounce (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Lemon slices or twists, for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill your glasses in the fridge or freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Pour 3 ounces (90 ml) of limoncello into a mixing glass or pitcher.
  3. Add ½ ounce (15 ml) of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the limoncello.
  4. Gently pour 3 ounces (90 ml) of chilled Prosecco into the mixture.
  5. Top with 2 ounces (60 ml) of soda water or sparkling mineral water.
  6. Stir gently with a bar spoon or stirrer to combine without flattening the bubbles.
  7. Fill prepared glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour the cocktail mixture over the ice.
  8. Garnish with a slice or twist of lemon and a sprig of fresh mint if desired.
  9. Serve immediately for the best fizz and flavor.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Pour sparkling wine slowly to preserve bubbles. Use large ice cubes to avoid quick dilution. Chill all ingredients and glasses beforehand for optimal refreshment. For a mocktail, replace limoncello and Prosecco with sparkling lemonade or lemon soda.
